Our Top 15 Flyp Fantasy Picks For The 2026 X Games
X is finally here.
One of the most exciting events in all of snowboarding kicks off this weekend. The action starts Friday, January 23, 2026, with women’s slopestyle at noon Mountain Time. Women’s snowboard superpipe goes down at 4:45 p.m., in an event that is truly up for grabs, thanks to a number of injuries to the usual stars of the show.
Last year, the X Games was filled with history, as Hiroto Ogiwara won a gold medal in Big Air after putting down a 2340 and Wang Ziyang won Knuckle Huck with a triple tame dog.
Now is as good a time as ever to start playing Flyp Fantasy. FLYP Fantasy brought its beta to the market in August 2024 and teamed up with Snowboarder Magazine to bring readers a fantasy league just for them.
To participate, it’s simple. Join the league, completely free of charge, and pick the five riders that you think will help you score the most points. Each week, players are allotted a budget that they use to add players to their lineup.
Those projected to score well, like Taiga Hasegawa or Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, will cost more from your budget. Newcomers and athletes competing in events that aren’t their strong suit, like Chunyu Ge or Nicolas Huber, will cost less from your budget.
You can sign up to join the Snowboarder league at this link here. Compete all season long for the chance to win real-life prizes, like a new snowboard from Whitespace.
You’ll have three teams to pick, and each of them will feature both men and women: Big Air, Superpipe, and slopestyle. Here’s who I picked for my teams:
Mpu Dinani/X Games
Big Air
Mia Brookes
No one is more stylish. Brookes took home the FIS Big Air Crystal Globe last season, and while the field is crowded, expect a few cab 1440s to look sleepy as hell in her run.
Hiroto Ogiwara
The reigning Big Air champ, offered at a price of 73 points? That’s a no-brainer. We’ll see if Hiroto can maintain his upward trajectory, as he did enter last year’s X Games as a bit of an underdog.
Taiga Hasegawa
Lost in the chaos of the 2340 last season was Taiga’s cab 2160, the first one ever put down in competition. I’d be shocked if Hasegawa doesn’t podium.
Anna Gasser
She’s coming back from a shoulder injury sustained in a surfing accident this year, but she’s also hungry. Gasser has already said that Milano-Cortina will be her last Olympics. We don’t know if she’s wrapping up her X Games career, but you can bet she’s using it as a dry run for Italy.
Marcus Kleveland
The man who pioneered spin-to-win has now taken a step back to focus on style. He’s still got the tricks in his bag, though. Last year, Kleveland was injured in Big Air, and had to pull out of knuckle huck.

Slopestyle
Dusty Henricksen
The Rockstar Energy Open Champion showed up to finals day and nonchalantly took down Mark McMorris in the opening round. Look for him to carry that energy into the X Games and eventually, Olympics.
Red Gerard
At a price of 86, Red is a steal. He won gold last year, and you know that Olympic-year Red is locking in.
Jamie Anderson
Anderson slammed hard in Laax, but if she’s healthy enough to compete, she’s healthy enough to win at the X Games.
Mia Brookes
Brookes made her debut at the X Games in 2024, and since then, has a bronze, silver, and gold medal. You just know that Black Sabbath is going to be blasting in her headphones when she drops in.
Yiming Su
No one has been better in the FIS circuit this year than Su. He battled injury last year, but expect him to land something crazy this weekend.

Superpipe
Maddie Mastro
She’s one of the fiercest competitors around, but a nagging ankle injury could prove to be a worthy distraction. Still, in any type of format, my money’s on Mastro.
Ayumu Hirano
His biggest weakness – spinning switch backside – seems to have gone away. Good luck everybody else!
Alessandro Barbieri
He’s just 17 years old, but has made himself known in the pipe, thanks largely in part to his appearances in The Snow League. He’s also one of a handful of Americans that can put down a triple cork 1440 in the pipe.
Kaishu Hirano
The day I count out a Hirano is the day they are no longer able to strap into a snowboard.
Scotty James
Anyone with a secret halfpipe setup is bound to do some damage. James is for sure looking at another knockout round.
