Geometry & Frame Details
All builds are centered on the same S-Range 7075 aluminium chassis for durability, but they are also available in the entire size range that Atherton Bikes offers for the S.170 chassis, meaning riders will have 12 different sizes to choose from.

The S.170E combines compact, high-power assistance with balanced handling and proven durability. Atherton is not currently disclosing the battery size fitted in the bike on the website, but they do state, “Rather than chasing maximum battery size, the focus is usable range for real mountain riding, without turning the bike into a heavy, slow-handling machine.” Which could mean the S.170E is not getting the full 800wh battery, and instead is using the smaller 600wh unit to keep weight to a minimum.
