Jake Lockett Sets 'Chicago Fire' Return in January 28 Episode, Will Be Back as Carver - Watch Promo!
Jake Lockett is reprising his role as Sam Carver on NBC’s Chicago Fire!
The 40-year-old actor made his debut on the show in season 11, became a series regular in season 13, and exited the show ahead of season 14 due to budget cuts.
It was revealed in the season 13 finale that Carver was transferring to the Denver Fire Department to have a fresh start while focusing on his sobriety.
In a promo for season 14′s 11th episode, airing on January 28, it was revealed that Jake is returning as a guest star.

It looks like there’s going to be a love triangle between Sam, his former flame Violet (Hanako Greensmith), and newcomer firefighter Sal Vasquez (Brandon Larracuente).
“Violet deserves the best,” Carver says, to which Vasquez replies, “I’m sorry, do we have a problem?”
