Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi Cries as She Reveals Doctors Found Cancerous Cells in Her Cervix

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is opening up about a scary health woe.

In a TikTok video posted on Wednesday (January 21), the 38-year-old Jersey Shore star revealed that after receiving abnormal pap smear results — which led to closer monitoring by her doctors — she recently underwent a colposcopy and biopsy, which revealed that she has cancerous cells in her cervix.

“Results come back,” Nicole shared. “Doctor calls me and he’s like, ‘Not looking great.’ He found cancerous cells on the top of my cervix.”

Keep reading to find out more…Nicole said that she will need to have an additional cone biopsy under anesthesia for further testing, and while she is focused on getting answer, she admitted that she’s “terrified.”

“It’s scary, but we have to get it done because cervical cancer is nothing to joke about,” Nicole added.

She went on to admit that she initially “waited” on scheduling her appointments out of stress, but is now sharing her journey to encourage others to take their health seriously.

“So ladies, stay on your appointments is basically what this video is about,” the 38-year-old said, “because we’re talking the future. If now this biopsy comes back, not great, the next step would be a hysterectomy.”

Though Nicole said that she and husband Jionni LaValle are “obviously” done having kids (they share two sons and a daughter), she started crying at the the thought of the possible procedure.

“The thought of getting a hysterectomy—it’s sad and it’s scary,” Nicole admitted. “I’m done having kids, but the thought of not being able to have kids, I think that’s what’s killing me. But whatever, whatever to keep me healthy and safe, to be here for my kids that I have now.”

She then asked her fans and followers for advice and words of comfort.

“I would love for just the community of mamas who has gotten this done and is dealing with this to just comment below,” Nicole said. “So we have a community of us who are scared and dealing with this to be there for each other, because being a woman is not easy, and this is definitely a scary thing. And I know I’m going to be fine. It’s just—it’s scary.”
