'The Traitors' Condemn Cyberbullying & Harrasment Against Celebrity Contestants Online
Peacock is speaking out amid online chatter over the current season of The Traitors.
While the game has gotten tense throughout season four, commentary on social media from viewers has also taken a turn, leading the show’s official social accounts to release a statement.

“We are committed to making our casts feel safe, respected, and supported – on screen and off,” the note began. “The cast of The Traitors are real people, and what happens in the game should never lead to cyberbullying or harassment. There’s a difference between discussing a show and targeting individuals.”
“Let’s not ruin the passion for this show with unwarranted negativity and personal attacks,” they concluded. “We appreciate the support.”
This isn’t the first time a Peacock series has released a statement about cyberbullying and noting the cast is full of “real people.” Last summer, Love Island USA producers dropped a note amid social media criticism of the islanders.
