It Looks Like The Traitors Fave Faraaz's Wish Might Be Coming True After All
This article contains spoilers for the finale of The Traitors UK.
The Traitors finalist Faraaz may not have managed to get his hands on that hefty prize fund, but it looks like he could still be getting his wish anyway.
Faraaz emerged as a fan-favourite as the latest season of The Traitors reached its end, particularly when he became the contestant closest to rumbling Rachel’s true identity and shared with the group that he wanted to use the prize money for a family pilgrimage to Hajj.
He told the BBC after the final aired: “Inshallah, one day I’ll be able to hopefully take them to Hajj or even complete Umrah. I’m looking forward to that.”
Now, a very wealthy fan of the show has offered to treat Faraaz and his family to the experience.
Umar Kamani – best known as the co-founder of the fast-fashion site Pretty Little Thing – wrote on X on Monday night: “I would love to send Faraaz from Traitors and his family to Hajj.”
In the penultimate episode of the Bafta-winning reality show’s fourth season, it looked like Faraaz had finally twigged that Rachel was a Traitor, but she eventually managed to use her powers of persuasion to convince him otherwise.
Faraaz was one of four contestants to make it to the final, but was the first to be shown the door, when Traitors Rachel and Stephen sent him packing.
With the Faithfuls outnumbered, Rachel and Stephen then voted off Jack, meaning they split the £95,750 prize pot between them.
Since the final aired, Jack has admitted that he initially didn’t take the discovery of Rachel and Stephen’s true identities well, and had to be taken outside to “calm down” after his elimination.
The Traitors will return for its fifth season in early 2027, but before that, there’s another star-studded edition of the show’s celebrity counterpart to look forward to later this year.
