Kim Kardashian Talks Deleted Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Photos
Kim Kardashian has spoken out for the first time about the photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that famously vanished from her mum’s Instagram account towards the end of last year.
In November 2025, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were among the A-list guests at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday celebration, and were featured in an Instagram collage both she and her daughter Kim posted after the shindig.
However, shortly afterwards, both Kim and Kris abruptly deleted their snaps of the pair, which many speculated was done because the bash fell around Remembrance Day.
During an interview with her sister Khloe on her podcast Khloe In Wonderland, Kim confirmed this to be the case while reflecting on what she described as “photo gate”.
“It was really innocent, which is so crazy,” the All’s Fair star insisted. “Mum and Meghan have been friends for some years now, and they have a really sweet relationship.
“We were told that it was totally cool to post. And then after it was posted, I think they realised it was Remembrance Day, and they didn’t want to be seen at a party, even though it’s already up, you know, and then taken down. And then I think they realised, like, ‘Oh, this was so silly’.”
Kim then speculated that Harry and Meghan were happy to attend a charity event earlier that evening – where the Duke of Sussex, himself a former Armed Forces member who served in Afghanistan, sported a poppy on his blazer – but “maybe not partying and dancing on the dance floor or whatever”.
“So we took them down to respect Remembrance Day,” she added.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been residing in Los Angeles for a number of years now, following their well-documented step back from their duties as senior royals in the early 2020s.
Since then, they have both spoken candidly about their experiences in what they describe as “the firm”, most notably in revealing interviews with Oprah Winfrey and ITV News, their Netflix series Harry & Meghan and the memoir Spare.
