The White Lotus Season 4 Cast Includes 2 Huge British Names
The first cast members appearing in the fourth season of The White Lotus have been unveiled.
It was previously revealed that season four of the satirical anthology series would be shot in both Paris and the south of France, focussing on a whole new troupe of holiday-goers whose luxury trip to paradise slowly descends into a holiday from hell.
On Thursday evening, the first members of the cast were unveiled, including two huge British names.
“The next round of bookings has begun in France,” a post on the official White Lotus social media pages read, alongside the news that Oscar nominee Helena Bonham Carter and six-time Bafta winner Steve Coogan would be checking into the resort.
Also on the cast list are Chris Messina (best known for his work in The Mindy Project, Argo and Vicky Cristina Barcelona), Hunger Games actor Alexander Ludwig and Aly & AJ star AJ Michalka.
Rounding off the cast so far are relative newcomers Marissa Long and Caleb Jonte Edwards.
Past seasons of The White Lotus have taken place in Hawaii, Sicily and Thailand, with this latest iteration being the second to be filmed in Europe.
Although each run of episodes centres around a different group of actors, numerous stars have now appeared in multiple seasons, most notably Jennifer Coolidge (who won two Emmys for her work in The White Lotus), Natasha Rothwell (who made her debut in season one and reappeared in last year’s third season) and Jon Gries (the only member of the cast to have played the same character in all three seasons).
Although nothing is confirmed yet, fans previously speculated that Parker Posey’s character from season three might make a return to The White Lotus in its new French location.
The White Lotus will begin filming later this year, with season four expected to arrive on our screens in 2027.
