Chik-fil-A Has 6 New Sandwiches on Its Menu — But Not Everyone Can Get Them
Chik-fil-A is testing out a series of new, limited-edition menu items, consisting of 6 new sandwiches for its loyal customers to choose from. While temporary menu additions are nothing new, this new offer has more of a catch for fast food fans and influencers looking to try out and review these new products.
Chick-fil-A fans in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, will be offered a chance to try an Avocado Sriracha BLT Sandwich, described on their website as "a freshly breaded Original Chicken filet served on Sriracha Swirl Toast with lettuce, tomato, seasoned avocado mash, and strips of hardwood smoked bacon, and cayenne ranch sauce on the side for an extra kick."
The Avocado Sriracha BLT sandwich will come in three varieties: classic breaded filet, spicy breaded filet, or grilled chicken. There's also a customisable bread element, with a choice of Sriracha Swirl Toast, in addition to the usual flaxseed flour flat bread, multigrain bun or buttery bun, according to People.
Chik-fil-A locations in Piedmont Triad in central North Carolina will be the first to taste the new Sweet Chili Lime Crunch Sandwich. The sandwich is "a freshly breaded Original Chicken filet on a toasted, buttered white bun, topped with a Ginger Lime Cool Crunch—made with cabbage, kale and ginger lime dressing—and drizzled with sweet chili sauce for a sweet and spicy finish," according to the Chik-fil-A press release.
Both the Sweet Chili Lime Crunch and Avocado Sriarcha BLT come with three protein options: classic breaded filet, spicy breaded filet or grilled chicken. The menu items will be available in the named locations from February 2 until March 7, but may expand nationally if successful with customers.
Back in January, the fast food chain tested new coffee options in its Birmingham, Alabama locations. They included vanilla-flavored ice coffee, available in caramel and mocha. The test coffee drinks also included a cream cold brew, available in plain, Mocha, Caramel, and Vanilla.
