Veep Dr Jane Ansah Reaffirms Commitment to Malawi’s Most Vulnerable
Vice President Dr Jane Ansah’s visit to Njolomole has brought hope to the community, as she reiterates her commitment to serving the people of Malawi, especially the most vulnerable.
As a Malawian who understands the struggles of hunger, Dr Ansah is working tirelessly to support the government’s initiatives to address food insecurity.
During her visit on Friday 6 February, Dr Ansah announced that the Dr Jane Ansah Foundation would be distributing maize flour to those in need, emphasizing the importance of using the aid wisely.
She also encouraged the community to engage in irrigation farming to improve food security and health.
Dr Ansah praised President Arthur Peter Mutharika as a visionary leader committed to delivering on promises, particularly in the area of human rights.
The event was attended by people from different ways of life, including students from Zomba Technical School, where Dr Ansah highlighted the importance of technical education and job skills training.
Beneficiaries previously received pigs from the foundation, but unfortunately, only few out of eighty survived.
Dr Ansah assured them that she would investigate the matter and find a solution.
The Dr Jane Ansah Foundation is set to expand its reach across Malawi, building houses for the underprivileged and supporting communities in need.
Elizabeth is one of the beneficiaries of the foundation’s housing initiative, a testament to the positive impact of Dr Ansah’s work.
