Barack & Michelle Obama Attract Attention with Simple Social Media Post After Trump's Racist Video
The Obamas are being praised online over a post that was shared on their foundation’s social media accounts in the aftermath of Donald Trump‘s racist video.
On Friday (February 6), the Obama Foundation shared a post highlighting the relationship between former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama.
The video included photos and video clips of them together over the years and was soundtracked with them talking about their love story.
While they haven’t directly responded to the 79-year-old president’s controversial video, which featured images of their faces superimposed over apes, the accompanying caption is being interpreted as meaningful.

“Love is beautiful,” the video is simply captioned on Instagram.
Fans in the comments section were quick to react.
“The social media team posting this today is elite level work,” one person wrote.
Another chimed in, writing, “It’s been a looong day. I needed this.”
“For the record, this is still MY PRESIDENT AND FLOTUS!!!!” yet another Instagram user enthused.
Trump‘s video has since been deleted. While White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt originally defended it, a White House staffer seemingly walked back the defense and alleged that it was posted “erroneously” by a staffer.
Speaking to the press on Air Force One on Friday, the president condemned the racist undertones of the video. However, he said that he did not owe anyone an apology, adding that he “didn’t make a mistake.”
