Drake Maye's Wife Ann Makes Personal Announcement Before Super Bowl
The 2026 Super Bowl is taking place on Sunday, February 8, and the event will pit Drake Maye and the New England Patriots against Sam Darnold and the Seattle Seahawks in San Francisco.
Now, Maye's wife, Ann Maye, has made an announcement ahead of Super Bowl LX, and it doesn't have anything to do with football.
Drake, of course, has enjoyed a season of historic nature with the Patriots. He took over as starting quarterback in 2024 and led the team to a 14-3 regular season record during the 2025-26 season. By the end of the regular season, he had notched 4,394 yards, 31 touchdowns and just eight interceptions, according to NFL research, and earned acclaim across the board. Drake was even up for MVP for the 2025-26 but lost to Matthew Stafford.
Drake married Ann, his childhood sweetheart, in June of 2025. The two met back in middle school and dating in college. It's obvious that Ann keeps him grounded amid the chaos of being a quarterback in the NFL.
Drake Maye's Wife Announces News Before New England Patriots Take on Seattle Seahawks
Now, amid the excitement of the Super Bowl, Ann has announced that she's starting a new business venture. She made the announcement on her official social media page with an advertisement in conjunction with DoorDash's "We Have Beef" campaign ahead.
In the ad that she shared, she compared New England's food and beverages to Seattle's and notes that New England has the better grub options. "Let's settle the beef, Seattle," the caption reads. She's in the video with Darnold's future wife, to boot.
Rapper 50 Cent is another celebrity tied with the campaign. "In a social campaign partnership with DoorDash dubbed The Big Beef, a cultural play rooted in the truth that Big Game rivalries are fueled online, 50 Cent breaks down rival teams to frenemy territory. Fans may even catch subtle nods along the way," DoorDash's official website states.
"I've always been about keeping it real, so when DoorDash approached me about a social campaign around beef, it felt authentic from the start," 50 Cent said of his involvement in a statement. "They've got everything you need, and just like with beef, the receipts speak for themselves."

DoorDash also teased more creator collaborations in the works for the campaign, stating that "Big Beef" will continue to unfold on social throughout Big Game weekend with additional social content from 50 Cent, surprise moments, and creator collaborations that keep the beef cooking until the final whistle, and maybe even after, because there's no off-season when it comes to beef."
So, expect to see DoorDash's "Big Beef" ad airing at some point during the Super Bowl, but no word on whether Maye's wife will be in the clip.
