The 2026 Super Bowl match-up might look familiar to some. It's a repeat of the 2015 Super Bowl, wherein the New England Patriots squeaked out a 28-24 win against the Seattle Seahawks after a snappy fourth quarter. They're tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowl wins, and a victory tonight would make history.
This is the Patriots' first trip to the big game without Brady and first time in the playoffs since 2021, bolstered by young quarterback Drake Maye and new head coach (and former Pats linebacker) Mike Vrabel. The Seahawks have also benefited from newer leadership. Head coach Mike Macdonald joined the team ahead of the 2024 season, and Seattle gained an extra asset this season with veteran quarterback Sam Darnold.
