Marc Anthony Reacts to Beckham Family Drama, Calls Feud 'Extremely Unfortunate'
Close Beckham family friend Marc Anthony is addressing the family feud.
If you did not see, Brooklyn Beckham released a lengthy statement about his family issues and explained why he doesn’t want to repair his broken relationship with parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham.
In a new interview, Marc, 57, who has been close friends with the family for decades, reacted to the drama, calling it “extremely unfortunate.”
Keep reading to find out more…“I have nothing to say about what’s happening with the family,” Marc told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published on February 9. “They’re a wonderful, wonderful family. I’ve known them since before the kids were born. I’m godfather to Cruz. I’m really close to the family.”
“But I have nothing to say about what happened there,” the Latin superstar continued. “It’s extremely unfortunate how it’s playing out — but [how it’s playing out] is hardly the truth.”
Marc was actually named in Brooklyn‘s very public complaints about his family. Brooklyn alleged that Victoria interrupted his planned dance between him and wife Nicola Peltz at their 2022 wedding. Brooklyn said that when he walked out onto the dance floor, Marc called for “the most beautifulest woman in the room” and Victoria ended up coming out and allegedly danced “inappropriately” on her son while Nicola ran out of the room crying.
