Armenia’s Pashinyan And JD Vance Hold Talks In Yerevan, Accounce Nuclear Cooperation Agreement
Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received U.S. Vice President JD Vance in Yerevan on his official visit. Pashinyan announced the meeting via his Facebook page.
“A private meeting with U.S. Vice President JD Vance, who is on an official visit to Armenia,” the Prime Minister wrote.
Vance is in Armenia, accompanied by his wife, Usha, and their children. Also traveling with the delegation is U.S. Deputy Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg.
On JD Vance's X account, the vice president announced that the two signed a nuclear cooperation agreement between the United States and Armenia.
Discussing the nuclear agreement, Vance said, “Peace is not made by cautious people. Peace is not made by people who are too focused on the past. Peace is made by people who are focused on the future.”
