'Massive Hypocrite' Robert Jenrick Given Brutal Reminder After Blaming Labour And Tories For Housing Crisis
Robert Jenrick was given a brutal reality check after blaming Labour and the Tories for Britain’s housing crisis.
The former cabinet minister, who defected from the Conservatives to Reform UK last month said on X: “The two old parties made housing unaffordable. Reform is now the home for aspirational young people.”
However, a community note was added to his post pointing out: “Robert Jenrick was the housing secretary for more than two years in the previous Conservative government.”
Jenrick was in the role from July, 2019, until September, 2021, when he was axed by then prime minister Boris Johnson in a cabinet reshuffle.

Social media users were also quick to pick up on Jenrick’s attempt to whitewash the part he played in the nationwide shortage of houses.

You must have such contempt for voters, believing they can’t remember when Housing was your Dept.

YOU WERE HOUSING SECRETARY. You literally had the chance to make a difference and you blew it. Go away.
