DeWalt Power Tools Are Up to 42% Off for President's Day. This Is What I'd Buy as a DIY Expert

You can always count on DeWalt to offer some huge deals on power tools and hand tools whenever a holiday rolls around, and that’s the case with President’s Day 2026. This year, DeWalt is slashing prices on everything from jigsaws to batteries to screwdriver bit sets, making it a great time to stock up on all the tools you’ll need to complete your spring to-do list of home improvement projects. I've browsed through all of the DeWalt President’s Day deals and these are my top five as a DIY expert. 

DeWalt 20V MAX Cordless Drill and Impact Driver, $149 (Was $259) on Amazon

DeWalt’s cordless drill set is a great deal on two of the most used power tools in a DIYers workshop. It includes an impact driver that puts out a max 1,400-in-lbs of torque and a drill/driver that can reach max speeds of 1,500 RPM. That’s ample power for handling any household projects you have planned. It comes with two batteries and a charger along with a carrying case.

DeWalt 192 Pcs. Mechanics Tool Set, $198 (Was $290) on Amazon

Home mechanics will love this deal on a DeWalt 192 piece mechanics tool set. This large set includes three ratchet sizes and a host of SAE and metric sockets in both deep and standard depths. We also like the build quality of these sockets, which have a six-point design and radius corners, so they won’t round off fastener heads. The kit also comes with a full contingent of extenders, adapters, and joints along with a selection of bit drivers and a full set of hex wrenches. All of the pieces fit nicely into a rugged molded plastic case you can throw in the trunk of a car.

This time around, DeWalt’s running a great deal on this set of 4Ah MAX XR Powerpack batteries, which are designed to deliver 50% more power than the brand’s standard lithium ion batteries. The batteries are built for the rigors of a workshop or jobsite with a rugged, rubber non-slip base. DeWalt’s XR batteries are usually priced for pros, but they're currently on sale at a very DIY friendly price. 

DeWalt 20V MAX Reciprocating Saw, $109 (Was $179) on Amazon

If you have renovation plans on your to-do list this spring, then you’re going to need a good reciprocating saw to handle the demolition part of the job. With the deal DeWalt has on this cordless model, now is the time to get one. This saw produces an impressive 3,000 strokes per minute with a long 1-1/8 stroke length, so you can cut through 2x4s, PVC pipe, drywall, rebar and other material quickly. We also like the 4-position blade clamp, which allows you to cut from various angles and make flush cuts.
