Charli xcx Confirms 'The Moment' Marks End of 'Brat' Era
Charli xcx is hitting the red carpet at the 2026 Berlinale International Film Festival!
The 33-year-old Grammy-winning singer stepped out for the premiere of her new movie The Moment on Saturday night (February 14) held at Zoo Palast in Berlin, Germany.
Charli showed off some major leg in a black silk dress as she was joined at the event by the mockumentary’s director Aidan Zamiri and producer David Hinojosa.
During a press conference earlier in the day, Charli confirmed that The Moment officially marked the end of her Brat era.
Keep reading to find out more… “Making this film was quite cathartic, in a way, because I was also able to channel a lot of my frustration that I may have felt in the real world into these heightened scenarios that I was experiencing within,” Charli said, per The Hollywood Reporter.
“For me, it’s over,” she added.
The Brat era kicked off in 2024 when Charli released her Brat album. The term “Brat” became a cultural phenomenon as that summer was dubbed “Brat Summer,” Kamala Harris adopted the term in her presidential campaign, and “Brat” was named word of the year by the Collins English Dictionary.
The Moment is out in theaters.
