Ikon Pass Reveals 2026-27 Price, New Resorts, and Access for Skiers
The Ikon Pass, one of the two biggest multi-mountain ski passes, is back on sale soon with new resorts, deals for younger skiers, and expanded Colorado access.
The 2026-27 Ikon Pass will be available for purchase on March 12, 2026, at $1,399, a $70 increase from last season's starting price. The Ikon Pass price is the lowest when it first goes on sale and climbs as the upcoming winter approaches.
The more limited Ikon Base Pass will cost $949, and Ikon Session Passes, which work like bundled lift tickets that can be used at multiple mountains, start at $299.
Renewal prices for the Ikon Pass and Ikon Base Pass are slightly lower, costing $1,349 and $924, respectively. Keep reading for the new resorts added to Ikon Pass and more.

New Ikon Pass Resorts
New for this season is seven-day Ikon Pass access to three Midwest mountains: Snowriver Mountain Resort, Michigan; Lutsen Mountains, Minnesota; and Granite Peak, Wisconsin. Base Pass holders get five days of access with blackout dates.
The resorts “are known for their family-friendly environment and dedication to delivering unforgettable winter adventures and are an ideal fit for loyal and new Ikon Pass holders,” said Charles Skinner, president and owner, Midwest Family Ski Resorts, in an Ikon Pass press release. “We look forward to welcoming our new Ikon Pass guests for a truly unique Midwest mountain experience."
The Ikon Pass also expanded its bonus mountain program, which now includes two days of skiing at eight mountains. The newcomers are Tamarack Resort, Idaho, and Devil’s Head Resort, Wisconsin.

Gen Z Deals
This week, the Ikon Pass’s main competitor, the Epic Pass, launched a new, lower-priced plan for skiers 30 and under. Seemingly in response, the Ikon Pass has launched an alternative, but similar, deal aimed at 20-somethings.
Instead of a blanket price category, those aged 23 to 28 can grab an Ikon Base Pass for $750—a $199 savings on each pass—when one person buys five passes for the group.
In contrast, the new Epic Pass discount applies to skiers and snowboarders aged 13 to 30, cutting the price from $1,089 to $869. It also covers Vail Resort’s cheaper Epic Local Pass, which, for those 13 to 30, costs $649.

More Colorado Access
Ikon Pass access has expanded at a few Colorado ski resorts.
With the Ikon Base Pass, you’ll get unlimited skiing at Arapahoe Basin next season.
At Snowmass, one of the four Aspen Snowmass mountains, Ikon Base Pass holders get five days with blackout dates. Notably, that doesn’t include Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, and Buttermilk. Seven-day combined access is only available at all four Aspen Snowmass mountains on the Ikon Pass, not the Ikon Base Pass.
Finally, both Ikon Pass and Ikon Base Pass holders will no longer need to make lift reservations at the Aspen Snowmass resorts.
