Three vessels struck in Strait of Hormuz amid US–Israeli war against Iran
Three commercial vessels were struck by projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday as the war of aggression against Iran, by Israel and the United States, widened across the Gulf and the eastern Mediterranean.
Maritime authorities confirmed that a Thai-flagged bulk carrier caught fire after an explosion near Oman. Twenty crew members escaped while three sailors remain missing, according to Thailand’s Marine Department and the vessel’s operator, Precious Shipping.
