Tooled up and trained at K.C. Vision
Four days of training opportunities and a showcase of tools and equipment were what thousands of attendees found at the Midwest Auto Care Alliance’s Vision Hi-Tech Training and Expo last week.
Held in Kansas City, Missouri, the event drew international attendees, including those from Canada, where they could take part in management, service writer, technical training and more.
There were also three days of exhibits. The Tool Expo showcased offerings on the tooling side, giving pros the chance to test out different options and even make purchases on the spot. The Vision Expo portion expanded on that, with crowds packing the halls for the chance to see what partsmakers had to offer, the latest in shop management software and other partnerships, such as business coaches, financial advisors and business management tools.
Presentations included topics such as enhancing service advisor selling, enhanced collaboration between techs and advisors, budgeting for shop owners, how to get your business in shape and plan your path to eventually sell your shop, strengthening the talent in the shop, creating a talent pipeline, retaining customers, standard operating procedures, mastering skills and many more.
