Gwyneth Paltrow Seemingly Shades People Who Go to Met Gala In Costume
Gwyneth Paltrow is speaking out about fashion and going to the Met Gala.

In a new article for her website goop, Gwyneth picked out her seven favorite red carpet looks, with two of them being Met Gala looks, where she then seemed to throw some shade at other attendees who go in a more costume-y look.

When talking about her 2019 Met look, where she wore a yellow Chloe dress, she said, “I have sort of a love-hate relationship with the Met Ball that’s well documented.”
Adding, “Also, like, I’m me—so I’m never going to the Met Ball in like, a hot dog costume or whatever, you know? I always have to be myself, first and foremost. Like, I’m not going in a costume; I’m going in a dress.”
“There’s two camps who go to the Met Ball—the costume or the evening dress. And I’m always going to be an evening dress person,” Gwyneth added.
The Met Gala has a certain theme every year, with some going all in on the theme, and others taking a more subtle approach, like Gwyneth.
