Al Pacino Has Rare Outing with All 3 Adult Kids — Including Twins With Beverly D'Angelo
Al Pacino is one proud father.
The legendary actor, 85, made a rare red carpet appearance with his three adult children on Thursday night, for the premiere of his eldest daughter Julia's new film, I Live Here Now. At the event, Pacino was pictured alongside twins Anton and Olivia, 25 (aboveleft)—who he shares with ex Beverly D'Angelo—as well as Julia (above right), his 36-year-old daughter with Jan Tarrant.
I Live Here Now is Julia’s feature film debut. The movie—a thriller Julia also wrote—stars Matt Rife, Madeline Brewer, Lucy Fry, Anna Armstrong and Twin Peaks' alum Sheryl Lee.
The last time the four were spotted together was back in 2020, when Pacino's children joined him at the Academy Awards. At the time, he was nominated for his supporting actor work in The Irishman, but lost out to Brad Pitt.
In addition to his three adult kids, Pacino is also dad to 2-year-old son Roman, who he shares with ex-girlfriend Noor Alfallah.
Pacino’s ex and mother to his twins, D’Angelo, was also in attendance at the event—where she posed for photos alongside Julia and her niece, actress Courtney D' Angelo.
Speaking with TooFab back in 2022, D'Angelo opened up a bit about her children with the Godfather actor and what it was like for them growing up in Hollywood.
“Look, the father of my kids is Al Pacino so they certainly have the insider view of what it is to be an actor and devoted to your craft,” she said at the time. “My son has a video game company, my daughter is a live actor, so it’s not something they don't care about, it’s more like we're in a company town and it’s family business.”
Pacino, meanwhile, opened up about becoming a dad to a newborn again at the age of 83 in a 2025 interview with BBC, calling it an “extraordinary” experience.
“I want to be around for this child. And I hope I am,” he told the outlet. “I hope I stay healthy, and he knows who his dad is, of course.”
“Everything he does is real. Everything he does is interesting to me,” he added of his son. “So, we talk. I play the harmonica with him on the other video thing, and we have made this kind of contact. So, it’s fun.”
He also spoke about becoming a father to his older children in a 2015 interview with The Guardian, in which he explained how having them changed the way he looked at the world.
“Before I had my three, I’d walk around in my own head, not noticing anything,” he said at the time. “Acting used to be everything; now, because of them, it’s just a small part.”
He also told the outlet that he hoped to be a different kind of father to them than his own dad was to him.
“My parents divorced when I was two and my father wasn’t in my life from then. I wanted to be different with my children,” he shared. “I wanted to be responsible to them, so I divide my time between two coasts.”
