Pickle Pepsi? New KFC Special Menu Offers Briny Treat for a Limited Time
You've heard of a pickle shot, but pickle Pepsi? Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is betting big with its newest concoction, part of a larger pickle menu that's hitting select stores in late March.
The Pickle Pepsi Max serves fans a side of straight up pickle juice alongside a cup of Pepsi Max. You can mix in as much or as little pickle juice as you please, making for a completely personalized pickle product.
The KFC Pickled Menu first debuted in August 2025 throughout Canada. Now, it's the United Kingdom's turn to experience what the fast-food giant is calling "pickle mania." The menu consists of new items like the Pickle Burger -- a chicken sandwich packed with sliced gherkins, pickle ranch, pickle seasoning, and of course a ton of pickle chips.
Other items on the pickle-forward menu include Loaded Pickle Fries, topped with pickle ranch and other pickle flavors. "Frickles," what is known stateside as fried pickles, is also hitting the KFC UK menu in March.
More on the Pickle Pepsi
The original pickled Pepsi served in Canada came pre-mixed with a splash of brine included in each drink. This new European version comes pre-pickled, with a hefty amount of bright green juice on the side.
“For too long now, pickles have been treated as a supporting character, quietly doing their job," said KFC Brand Manager for UK & Ireland James Channon, "we thought it was time they had their moment.
As of now, KFC only plans to run its pickle promotion for six weeks. This means that the new pickle products may only be available throughout KFC locations in the UK until April 19. If successful, though, KFC could choose to extend the new menu further.
There are currently no public plans to bring the pickle products to the United States. After moderate success in Canada and an even bigger rollout throughout the United Kingdom, I wouldn't be surprised if KFC became PFC sometime in the near future.
