Timbaland "Breathe In, Breathe Out" Push-Up Challenge Is Taking Over Social Media
Another day, another challenge is sweeping across social media platforms. While the newest one doesn’t require people to learn dance steps, it still requires movement, as it’s a fitness challenge. The “Breathe In, Breathe Out” Push-Up Challenge is prompting many users across Instagram, TikTok, and X (Twitter) to hit the floor.
Done to the track “Drop” by hip-hop legends Timbaland & Magoo featuring the dearly departed Fatman Scoop, the challenge calls for participants to do push-ups. But as with any social media craze, people are decidedly opting to one-up each other with every video of the challenge posted. In fact, as of publication, it looks like the run-of-the-mill push-up will no longer work if you want to make your video memorable. Hence, why some participants have taken things to the next level of fitness.
Social Media Users Get Creative with "Breathe In, Breathe Out" Push-Up Challenge
Again, the videos now of people participating in the “Breathe In, Breathe Out” Challenge have gone way beyond traditional push-ups. We’re talking weights on back, the incorporation of dumbbells, and moves guaranteed to make any novice to fitness ache from simply watching the move. That’s a little exaggeration for sure, but seriously, it’s not advised that everyone take the following approaches to the challenge. With that being said, check out a few challengers from across social media.

Background of the Timbaland & Magoo Song “Drop”
While many people know Timbaland as a six-time Grammy-winning producer who is responsible for some of music’s greatest hits performed by the likes of Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Aaliyah, and many more, Timbaland is also a hip-hop artist in his own right. Yes, he does have solo music, but he was also one-half of Timbaland & Magoo.
In 2001, the duo released the album Indecent Proposal, which peaked at 29 on the Billboard 200 and 3 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. The song “Drop” was one of two singles officially released from the project. Timbaland produced the song, while he, Magoo, and Fatman Scoop are all credited as writers.
