Taylor Frankie Paul Expresses Gratitude Toward 'The Bachelorette' Contestant Doug Mason's Supportive Message
Taylor Frankie Paul is responding to one of the contestants from her canceled season of The Bachelorette.
Doug Mason filmed himself offering a supportive message to the reality star while driving to the beach and posted it to his Instagram on Friday (March 20).
A fan reshared his video, in which he says, “Good morning, everybody. In light of everything that’s happened, I’m just sending out prayers to Taylor because that was her moment, and her moment was blocked.”
In the comment section of the fan’s post, Taylor responded to Doug‘s message, writing, “Aw my heart goes out to him. So sweet.”
According to a previous report from Reality Steve, Doug was actually the winner of Taylor‘s season and the pair got engaged in the finale.
However, since filming ended, they reportedly broke up because of her estranged partner Dakota Mortensen, with Doug flying out to Utah to see Taylor and her ending things in January.
ABC officially chose to cancel her season of The Bachelorette after an explosive 2023 video leaked showing her violently confronting Dakota while her child was nearby.
“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” ABC shared in a statement.
