TRUMP SHUTS DOWN RUMORS: Tulsi Gabbard’s DNI Job SAFE After “Strong Performance” — “She Did a Good Job”
President Donald Trump has put an end to swirling rumors that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is on her way out.
Speaking directly to reporters, Trump firmly defended his DNI pick, declaring she “did a good job yesterday” during her high-stakes congressional testimony regarding the Iran conflict.

The latest wave of speculation began after Gabbard’s recent appearances before congressional committees, where she faced intense questioning from lawmakers.
That’s when Laura Loomer claimed Gabbard’s resignation was imminent.
According to Loomer, Gabbard’s own political staff allegedly expected her to step down, citing dissatisfaction with her congressional testimony.
Loomer wrote that Gabbard instead emphasized the president’s constitutional authority, which she tried to spin as a lack of support.
“@TulsiGabbard’s political staff expect that she is about to RESIGN, following the resignation of her colleague @joekent16jan19. This comes after two days of her testimony in front of Congress this week where she never once expressed support for President Trump or his decisions.
Instead, she used her time during the hearings to affirm President Trump’s right to make decisions as President of the United States, making it clear she doesn’t support those decisions. Despite what she is telling the White House, one of her closest advisors anticipates her resignation is coming soon. President Trump should not allow Gabbard the dignity of a resignation, followed by her immediately trashing him on MSDNC, CNN, the View, and Tucker Carlson’s podcast.”
But on Friday, President Trump put an end to the rumor that DNI Tulsi Gabbard is on her way out.
It can be recalled that a furious President Trump fired DHS Secretary Kristi Noem following her testimony before the Senate and House Judiciary panels.
Punchbowl News reported that President Trump was so angry with Noem’s performance, particularly before the Senate, that he is contacting congressional Republicans to see whether he should send her packing.
One particular exchange that ticked Trump off was one Noem had with Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) about a DHS campaign funded by American taxpayers.
A report from Fox News correspondent Jacqui Heinrich suggests that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s Senate testimony earlier this week defending a massive $200 million immigration ad campaign may have been the final straw that pushed President Donald Trump to remove her from the post.
According to Heinrich, Trump was reportedly furious after learning that Noem told lawmakers on Capitol Hill that the president had approved the costly advertising effort, an assertion the White House now says is not true.
