Pennsylvania Abortion Biz Violates Health Codes 15 Years After Kermit Gosnell
In the wake of the news that notorious West Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell had died come revelations of continued health and safety violations at a Philadelphia abortion facility.
The embattled Philadelphia Women’s Center, not to be confused with Gosnell’s Women’s Medical Society which was shut down, has once again failed inspection. The building inspection, which occurred January 13th, contains a laundry list of hazards–from a fire alarm system that was not properly installed to a sprinkler system that had not been sufficiently maintained and tested.
The high-volume abortion facility has been failing inspection for years yet continues to remain in operation.

This sad state of affairs demonstrates the failures of the Shapiro Administration to safeguard and protect women’s health at Pennsylvania abortion centers.
The state-mandated inspections came in the wake of the massive Kermit Gosnell tragedy. A jury of seven women and five men found Gosnell guilty of murdering three newborn babies and causing the death of female immigrant patient Karnamaya Mongar. The grand jury believed that Gosnell actually murdered hundreds of babies, but they could only bring charges in a handful of cases because Gosnell destroyed so many records.
A report surfaced today that Gosnell died in prison two weeks ago, but his death is only coming to light now. His violent crime spree led to the enactment of an abortion center regulation law which requires regular inspections of abortion facilities for potential health and safety violations.
But the Philadelphia case shows that women’s health and safety continue to be compromised at Pennsylvania abortion centers.
