Staff visit Beaufort Primary School
On Monday, staff members Benjamin Parker and Ben Stone visited Beaufort Primary School as part of an ongoing community outreach programme delivered in partnership with Seymours.
The visit aimed to inspire pupils by highlighting the wide range of career opportunities available within the sports industry, both on and off the field. Through engaging discussions, the pair shared insights into their professional journeys, emphasising the importance of dedication, resilience, and hard work in achieving success.
A particularly meaningful aspect of the visit was Benjamin Parker’s return to his former primary school. Reflecting on his own experiences, he spoke to pupils about his journey from sitting in the same classrooms to building a career in sport, reinforcing the message that ambition and commitment can open many doors.
The session encouraged pupils to think broadly about their futures, showcasing roles across coaching, performance, media, and business within sport. By providing real-life examples, the visit helped bring these opportunities to life in an accessible and relatable way.
The children were given 250 tickets for our Enterprise National League fixture against Morecambe on Saturday 11th April.
We would also like to thank Seymours for their continued support in helping to deliver our school engagement programme and for their ongoing commitment to making a positive impact within the local community.
