NFL Star Puka Nacua Breaks Silence on Biting, Antisemitism Allegations
Puka Nacua has responded to the recent accusations from a woman in California, who claims he bit her and made an antisemitic remark.
The woman in question has filed for a temporary restraining order against the Los Angeles Rams receiver, though a judge declined to grant the order pending further review. She says the incident happened on Dec. 31, 2025.
Puka's Response
After these allegations made their way online, Nacua's attorney, Levi McCathern, made a statement to TMZ, vehemently denying both of the woman's claims.
"Puka denies these allegations in the strongest possible terms," McCathern began. "We will be filing a defamation lawsuit and pursuing all available legal remedies in response to these false and damaging statements."

According to the original complaint, the woman was hanging out with the Rams star and a group of friends on New Year's Eve. The group was having dinner early in the evening when Nacua allegedly said, "F**k the Jews."
McCathern replied to that accusation directly, saying: "A completely sober witness has stated unequivocally that Puka never made the comments."
Later that night, the woman claims Nacua bit her in the shoulder, which followed him allegedly biting another woman's thumb. While McCathern did not dispute that he may have bitten her, he downplayed the incident as "horseplay."
The woman's complaint, however, doesn't frame it the same way, saying it was actually a painful bite that came "with such massive force to leave a complete circular impression of all of his teeth as marks on her skin," according to the New York Post.
"Our office was contacted with demands of millions of dollars in exchange for not publicizing these allegations," McCathern said, calling the accusations a money grab. "This is not a legitimate claim -- it is blackmail."
Why Go Public Now?
Earlier this month, both parties held a mediation conference, but nothing was resolved. McCathern revealed his theory on why the woman decided to make the allegations public now.
"The timing of the claimant's recent legal action -- nearly three months after the alleged incident and just days after [Jaxon Smith-Njigba's] record-breaking contract as a wide receiver -- further underscores the complete lack of credibility behind these accusations," he told the outlet
Smith-Njigba just signed a four-year, $168 million deal this week, the largest contract ever for an NFL receiver. Nacua—who is still signed to a rookie deal that expires after the 2026 season—will likely top Smith-Njigba's number when he signs a new contract.
Previous History of Antisemitism Accusations
This is not the first time Nacua has been accused of using antisemitic rhetoric. In December 2025, the receiver said he would perform an antisemitic touchdown dance during a livestream with Adin Ross and Mikyle Rafiq, but it's unclear whether or not he was aware of its origins at the time. Nacua apologized thereafter and insisted he "had no idea" the movement was offensive.
"When I appeared the other day on a social media livestream, it was suggested to me to perform a specific movement as part of my next touchdown celebration," Nacua said in an Instagram post. "At the time, I had no idea this act was antisemitic in nature and perpetuated harmful stereotypes against Jewish people. I deeply apologize to anyone who was offended by my actions as I do not stand for any form of racism, bigotry or hate of another group of people."
A hearing in this new case is scheduled for April 14, with the court saying it "needs more information at a properly noticed hearing" before issuing any orders.
