Donald Trump Explains Why He Used Mail-In Ballot for Florida Election After Calling It 'Mail-In Cheating'
It was discovered that Donald Trump voted by mail just days after calling the process “mail-in cheating.”
The 79-year-old POTUS apparently voted this way for in the Florida House District 87 election, which is where Mar-a-Lago is located. Democrat Emily Gregory won the election, flipping the district blue.
During an appearance today (March 26), Trump was asked about the decision to not vote in person.

“You know what, because I’m president of the United States, and because of the fact that I’m president of the United States, I did a mail-in ballot for elections that took place in Florida,” he told reporters (via NBC News).
“I decided that I was going to vote by mail-in ballot because I couldn’t be there, because I had a lot of different things,” he continued.
He has been trying to pass a restrictive voting bill called the SAVE Act, which would make it more difficult for Americans to use mail-in voting methods.
“You know, brought to my attention today that we’re the only country that does mail-in voting,” he claimed earlier this week (via CNN). “Mail-in voting means mail-in cheating. I call it mail-in cheating, and we got to do something about it all.”
