Spruce Kings Sign Daniel Podvalov
The Prince George Spruce Kings are pleased to announce the commitment of 2007 born forward Daniel Podvalov for the 2026-2027 season.
Podvalov is 6’0, 187 pounds and was born in Torrance, California, but grew up playing hockey in Kazakhstan and played for the Little Caesars 18U AAA program this season. In 78 games, Daniel scored 42 goals and added 48 assists leading his team in scoring.
Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes: “Daniel is a very talented offensive player with a high IQ. We’re thrilled to add him to our program and to assist him with the next step in his development.”

The Spruce Kings open the 2026 Rogers BCHL Playoffs on Friday April 3rd against the Langley Rivermen at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $17 for Adults, $14 for Seniors, and $6 for Youth 6-18.
