Justice Alito visited hospital for treatment for dehydration, but incident kept SECRET
Justice Samuel Alito, one of the Supreme Court’s most reliable votes for affirming the Constitution as written, visited a hospital for dehydration before returning to his home and his duties, according to multiple reports.
But the fact that it was kept secret from the public is raising eyebrows.

Reports confirm he was taken to a hospital, evaluated and given fluids for dehydration, then sent back to his Virginia home the same night.
Since the March 20 event, he has attended oral arguments and appeared healthy during the usual give-and-take with lawyers at the lectern.
But at the Gateway Pundit pointed out that Alito, 76, is one of the justice about whom retirement speculation regularly rises.
Leftists would love to see him serve on the bench until a Democrat president in is office, at which time they would want him replaced with another like Joe Biden’s nominee, Ketanji Jackson. She was unable to define the word “woman” during her confirmation hearings and since then frequently has delivered off-topic rants during oral arguments, discussing “Japan” and “wallet” during birthright citizenship arguments, and ranting for pages and pages in her dissents that are so far off topic that even other liberals on the bench disavow her agenda.
She’s instead taken part in a Broadway production.
Alito so far has declined to speculate about retirement.
He was attending a Federalist Society dinner when he reportedly was feeling lightheaded, and that prompted his security detail to recommend a hospital visit.
“Out of an abundance of caution, he agreed with his security detail’s recommendation to see a physician before the three-hour drive home,” the Supreme Court said in a statement.
He then did, in fact, return to his home.
Fox reported he is was nominated to the Supreme Court in 2005 by President George W. Bush and confirmed in 2006. He is the second-oldest member of the court, behind Justice Clarence Thomas, who is 77.
The Supreme Court now generally makes decisions along a 6-3 conservative-liberal division, although not always.
The majority was successful in striking down the failed Roe v. Wade creation of a federal “right” to abortion. Another precedent now in the bull’s-eye is the decision, based on politics alone and no connection to the Constitution, the creation of same-sex “marriage” for the entire nation.
