IMF chief Lagarde says 'good distance away' from Greek debt deal
International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde on Sunday told Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras that "we are still a good distance away" in negotiations for a debt deal with hard-up Athens.
"My view of the ongoing negotiations is that we are still a good distance away from having a coherent program that I can present to our Executive Board," she wrote in a letter to the prime minister and made public by the IMF.
