Bio
Candice Lo, a female director and filmmaker from Taiwan living in London. Her work is often focused to promote women image in an eccentric and conceptual way that challenges stereotypes through her experimental filmmaking, creating a sensitive perception of fresh, engulfing with myriad of different journeys. Her work appeared on i-D, Dazed, SHOWStudio, UNWoman and has worked with clients like Miss Selfridge, Apple, TOGA and Halpern.
About the project
A fashion film celebrate honest look of Morden womanhood that most women and girls encounter these days. Is an empowerment and focuses on gender equality, build smart and innovate for change. Each chapter makes a statement and it integrates within the theme, a storyline that connect to most of women’s day to day life, mine for certain. “1991” project is named after my birth’s year and the chapters as wine categories which are similar to our life, could be dry and could be sweet.
