Pashinyan threatens demonstrators with law and "steel mandate"
ArmInfo. What does it mean that groups of students and athletes are trying to organize mass unrest in Yerevan?, asked Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan with genuine surprise on the evening of September 21 during a Facebook live broadcast.
According to the prime minister, citizens want a faster and tougher reaction, and there will be one. "They (the organizers of the protests) want blood to be shed on the streets of Yerevan. However, we will be within the framework of the law and the "steel mandate," he noted. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers called on people to remain calm and not cross the line of legality. In connection with Azerbaijan's aggression against Artsakh, as well as the position of the RA authorities, there have been protests for several days now in Yerevan, in particular near the government building, demanding a change of power and the resignation of the head of the Cabinet, as well as the adoption of measures to protect Artsakh and Artsakh people.
