Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: ‘Rohit Purohit is blessed that he plays Armaan’ Romiit Raaj on Shehzada Dhami getting replaced

Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is the longest running show on television. It began in 2009 and is getting all the love from the audience. The show has had made big TV stars like Hina Khan, Karan Mehra, Mohsin Khan, Shivangi Joshi, Harshad Chopda, Pranali Rathod and others. We have got so many iconic characters from the show. However, we have seen many issues happening between the actors and the makers. Recently, when Abhira and Armaan's story began, we saw Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were removed from the show.

They played Armaan and Ruhi in the show. Rajan Shahi said that Shehzada was unprofessional and Pratiksha did not know the craft well. He said that they were not serious about their work. However, both Shehzada and Pratiksha have refuted these accusations.

Romiit on Rohit Purohit replacing Shehzada

After Shehzada and Pratiksha's exit, Rohit and Garvita Sadhwani entered the show. Post that, Shivam Khajuria also left and Romiit Raaj entered as Rohit Poddar. Now, Romiit spoke to Siddharth Kannan about Shehzada's exit. He said that the work on the sets is very systematic and the team does everything on time.

He said that there is not a single drop of negativity on the sets. Further, he was asked whether he had doubts about joining the show after hearing these negative stories around Shehzada's exit. Romiit also spoke about Shivam Khajuria getting a good opportunity to play Prem in Anupamaa and because of this, he got to play Rohit Poddar in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Romiit believes it was all destiny. He said that he, Rohit and Shivam would see it as an opportunity that they got good roles.
