RA, UAE FMs discuss developing cooperation
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the parties mutually emphasized their readiness to expand cooperation in a number of areas in parallel with active political dialogue. In this context, the ministers discussed options for developing trade, economic, and business ties, as well as investment programs, the effective implementation of which could also be facilitated by the increase in direct flights and tourist flows in recent years.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan exchanged views on regional issues. The Armenian Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as initiatives aimed at further strengthening it. Mirzoyan praised the initiative to establish the Zayed Prize for Human Fraternity to commemorate the peace.
The meeting also discussed opportunities for regional connectivity and expanding infrastructure networks, and touched upon humanitarian issues.
