YEREVAN, November 6. /ARKA/. Armenia's foreign trade in January-September 2024 increased by 73.5% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching over $23.7 billion, according to the Armenian National Statistical Committee's website./pp
Armenia's largest foreign trade partners werenbsp;Russia (with a trade turnover of over $9.7 billion, a 99.2% increase compared to the first nine months of 2023) and the EU, with a turnover of about $1.7 billion, a decline of 16.9%./pp
The top five largest trading partners among European countries werenbsp;Germany ($348.8 million, a decline of 29.6%), Italy ($315.3 million, a decline of 0.3%), Belgium ($138 million, an increase of 23%), the Netherlands ($123.6 million, a decline of 53.8%), and France ($113.5 million, a decline of 3.5%).nbsp;/pp
Among other countries, the largest trade turnover werenbsp;the UAE ($4.6 billion, a 6.3-fold increase), China (over $2 billion, a 34.7% increase), Iran ($520.6 million, a 2.7% increase), and the United States ($323.2 million, a 41% decrease)./pp

According to statistical data, Armenia's exports for the first nine months of 2024 increased 2.1-fold compared to January-September 2023, totaling about $10.6 billion./pp
Export to Russia (about $2.3 billion, a decline of 15.5%), the volume of exports to EU countries decreased by 22.7% compared to January-September 2023, totaling $444.9 million./pp
Other countries with the largest export volumes from Armenia include the UAE ($4.6 billion, a 6.8-fold increase), China ($907.8 million, a 2.8-fold increase), and Iraq ($154.9 million, a 13.1% increase)./pp
