The First 'Dr. Strange' Trailer Is Obviously Magic
Things are about to get very strange at Marvel.
Benedict Cumberbatch made an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Tuesday to introduce the world to the first trailer for "Dr. Strange." The movie appears to be an origin story about how Dr. Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch) goes from losing the life he knew as a successful surgeon to discovering the ways of magic with help of the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton).
(Because who needs Albus Dumbledore for magic lessons when you got Tilda Swinton, right?)
"Dr. Strange" is set to hit theaters in November, and the character is also rumored to play a big role in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" movies, so it's about time a trailer dropped.
Beyond that, the film is definitely giving off "Inception" vibes, so who knows? Maybe we'll finally find out if the top stops spinning. Like, c'mon, Marvel. Yeah, the trailer is sick, but you mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.
"Dr. Strange" magically appears in theaters November 2016.
