Jared Leto Says He Sent His 'Suicide Squad' Castmates Anal Beads & Used Condoms, David Ayer Talks Reshoots
In case you haven't heard already, Jared Leto went full method for his portrayal of Juggalo Joker in the upcoming "Suicide Squad." And while Daniel Day-Lewis may wear the crown for staying in character and heavily researching his roles, we'll bet he never did anything like this.
Speaking with E!, Leto revealed that part of his process in creating the proper tension on set for his character involved sending them anal beads and used condoms, which doesn't sound intense, so much as gross and kinda unhygienic. “I did a lot of things to create a dynamic, to create an element of surprise, of spontaneity, and to really break down any kind of walls that may be there,” he explained. “The Joker is somebody who doesn’t really respect things like personal space or boundaries.”
