Famous Armenian journalist, editor-in-chief of Iravunk daily, Hovhannes Galajyan dies at 60
ArmInfo. Today, at the age of 60, the long-time editor-in-chief of the Iravunk daily, Hovhannes Galajyan, a
well-known journalist and public figure, passed away, the newspaper confirms the sad news.
Galajyan was born on December 2, 1963 in Yerevan. In 1991, Galajyan
graduated from the Faculty of Computer Science at the Yerevan
Polytechnic Institute, receiving a degree in electronics engineering,
but chose the profession of a journalist. In 1989, he became a
co-founder and then editor-in-chief of the Iravunk daily. Since 1988,
he has been an active member of the Constitutional Law Union.
Hovhannes was an extraordinary individual, a great scholar and a
person with encyclopedic knowledge, a good and dedicated friend. He
was a God-given journalist.
