10 men bag 5-year jail sentences over involvement in illegal oil deal
The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has convicted 10 men over their involvement in an illegal oil deal.
The development was disclosed on the Twitter handle of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

NAIJ.com gathers that the presiding judge sentenced the suspects to five years in jail.
The anti-graft commission further disclosed that the men had been arrested by the Nigerian Navy in April 2015.

In a related development, NAIJ.com previously reported that nine suspected illegal dealers of petroleum products were arraigned by the EFCC.
They were arraigned before Justice Hadiza Rabiu Shagari of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos on a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy.
The suspects were charged alongside a vessel, MT Queen of Peace and three companies - Macker Fender Limited, Machalis International Limited and Ayonok Ventures Limited .
