Funayama and Hata score stoppage wins!
The first of those was Daiki Funayama (10-3-1, 3) [舟山大樹], who scored a 4th round TKO win over Thai visitor Sophon Klachun (5-4, 1).
Funayama began his career 3-3-1 but has really turned things around ans this win today seemed to suggest he was going to settle at Super Bantamweight, after flirting with the Featherweight division earlier in his career. Today he simply broke down his Thai foe, and looked good doing it.
The other man impressing was the heavy handed Yamato Hata (9-1, 9) [波田大和], who's heavy hands took out Ryukyu Oho (6-3, 3) [大保龍球] in the 3rd round of their scheduled 8 rounder. Hata's power always looked imposing here and proved to be be the deciding factor as he dropped his man twice and forced the referee to jump in and stop the action when Oho was hurt up close.
