Bell Let’s Talk Campaign
On Bell Let’s talk day, Champlain College Saint-Lambert was one of the 130 Canadian colleges and Universities to participate in the world’s biggest conversation about Mental Health. Throughout the day a team of Champlain students and staff facilitated different activities to change the attitude and reduce the stigma around mental health. The Champlain community tweeted 152 messages and had a total of 352 #BellLetsTalk interactions on Twitter. At 5 cents per interaction, the college donated $17.60 to Canadian mental health programs. A big thank you to everyone who organized and participated in the Bell Let’s Talk campaign, it’s very important to let those who struggle with mental health that they are not alone. Let’s keep the conversation going all year long! This year, the 2018 Bell Let’s Talk campaign hit an all new record by raising $6,919,199.75 to invest in mental health programs throughout Canada.
