Reggie Miller thinks Ricky Rubio’s name is Marco Rubio
“Did I say Marco Rubio?”

When you provide commentary for as many games as Reggie Miller and Kevin Harlan have, sometimes you get your names confused. That’s what happened on Monday night during the Timberwolves-Rockets broadcast, but this one is a bit more confusing than most instances. Reggie Miller thought an elected politician was on the court.
Jeff Teague got into it with Marco Rubio during the regular season ... did I say Marco Rubio? ... so I did hear the senator, or the governor. I’m all over the place.
He was referring to Ricky Rubio of the Jazz. Miller does have a history of getting names wrong, which is okay. It happens. But he didn't help his cause when he couldn’t figure out whether Marco was a senator or governor (he’s the former).
Just to make matters more confusing, Kevin Harlan kept sprinkling the word ‘Reggie’ before saying players’ names. Harlan is obviously referring to Reggie Miller but combined with a player’s last name, it seemed as though he was coming up with new players.
Reggie Rose, Reggie Paul, Reggie Harden, and Reggie Gordon... where does it end?

In the video, he mentions Reggie Paul which is just Chris Paul but he kept that going throughout the entire broadcast. Derrick Rose became Reggie Rose, which is actually the name of Derrick’s brother.
