Oloyede, who was retired by the National Judicial Council (NJC) for publicly criticising Osun state Governor Rauf Aregbesola, said this in a statement.
The retired judge, who is also the lead advocate, Virtues Unlimited Restorative Justice Initiative (VURJ), urged Nigerians to come to the aid of the musician by assisting him to build a better structure.
“Gentlemen and ladies, it has come to my attention that the building housing Fresh FM, the business of our music maestro, Yinka Ayefele, has just been demolished."
“May I respectfully request that we all come to his aide by providing the wherewithal to put up a new structure of his desire as a legacy to Nigerians’ right to freedom of expression.“Nothing is too little, let’s jointly ensure that the glory of the latter house is greater than that which was demolished.”
Recall that NAIJ.com earlier reported how a bulldozer arrived at the premises of the Music House which also houses Fresh FM around 4.30am on Sunday, August 19, in company of a full white hummer bus of officers of the Nigerian Army and mobile policemen.
Reacting to the demolition, Yinka Ayefele shared heartbreaking pictures from the site on his Instagram page. He wrote: "Oyo state government did at last.....my pain my sweat..so help me God."
