Ex-Liverpool star Sebastian Coates dramatically saved the life of his goalkeeper during a match between his team Sporting Lisbon and Portimonense.
Coates was the hero on the night as he saved the life of his teammate Romain Salin who went to ground after a nasty collision with the post.
Eventually the goal was still scored by Shoya Nakajima despite his efforts as he became unconscious in the process.

The former Liverpool defender quickly opened the keeper's mouth and put his finger inside to prevent him from swallowing his tongue.
The 28-year-old then sent signals to the medical team to come to the aid of Salin who was substituted to take further treatment.
The Uruguayan later went on to score but could not prevent his side from losing by 4-2.
Coates spent three seasons at Anfield and went on loan with Sunderland before signing a permanent deal the Portuguese outfit in 2017.
