Learn to swim
The learn to swim programme is aimed at younger children from reception school age.
The pool floor is lifted allowing for the smallest of children to build confidence in the water without being out of their depth.
Regular assessment of the children will ensure they are progressing through the stages from Ducklings 1 through to Stage 6, as their individual skills develop.
In these sessions the pool is divided up into a number of sections depending on ability, and the children swim across the width of the pool.
