West Virginia band students gather for Marshall Honor Band
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia high school band students are participating in Marshall University's Honor Band.
The university says 400 students from throughout the region will be on campus through Saturday to audition for one of four ensembles.
The students will hear performances by Marshall musicians and attend rehearsals and master classes with clinicians conducting the ensembles.
Final concerts will be performed beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday in Smith Recital Hall.
